Birthday Parties

The Museum is a perfect place for children's (and adult) birthday parties. The Museum offers a conference room with seating capacity for 12 children. Although we do not offer catering service, we do have refrigerators, an ice machine, microwave, and other kitchen appliances for your use during the party.

For a normal-size group we charge $75.00 and typically require at least 2 week's notice. Birthday parties can be scheduled any day of the week except Monday and are limited to the Museum's normal operating hours. Birthday party attendees are entitled to a discount on custom made dog-tags, if purchased while at the party.

The Museum Gift Shop is also near by and accepts both cash and credit cards for last minute gifts. Further information, please contact:

Retirement Parties

The Museum is a perfect place for aviation-related retirement parties. In addition to our conference room, we are also able to offer our main hangar for evening events. Events with 150 to 200 people are easily accommodated in our hangar facility.

Although we do not offer catering services, we do have refrigerators, an ice machine, microwave, and other kitchen appliances for your use during the party. You may use outside catering services with our prior approval.

Rates are negotiated depending upon the size of the group and date and time you would like to host the party. Typically we require at least 2 week's advance notice. Retirement parties can be scheduled for any day of the week; however, they are limited to times after the Museum' operating hours and  staff is available. (Usually evening events start after 5:30pm)

If you are interested in something special with one of our aircraft for the retiree, please feel free to contact us and discuss your idea. We have hosted a number of events which have included use of our Piedmont Airlines DC-3 as part of the retirement ceremony.
